[ Only Hit News] Okay, this is scary. This lady has a WiFi enabled PDA that can discover open connections and networks, and launch hacking exploits, all from the palm of the hand.

[Shadowmite.com] Shadowmite.com Blog » WM5 PDA: As a strong counterpoint to the recent PalmOS news, Microsoft does plan to release a new OS in a very short timeframe. Now I’m not a big fan of windows, or of giant soulless corporations that are evil in thier basic nature, but microsoft does do one thing well: make operating systems. I use thier operating system, and largely because offerings from linux dont have the central development nessecary to bring a mobile OS to market and because PalmOS has become defunct by its own very nature coupled with a bungleing corporate policy of self destruction… leaving Windows Mobile the leading PDA-phone OS race almost by default. I think that a tecnnology war between a few major factions would bring superior products to everyone and quickly advance the already rapid pace that new products come to market, but there arent any operating systems that can offer serious opposition to Windows Wobile. As much as I would love to see a multitasking Palm OS or a mobile linux from Access or elsewhere, I dont see either coming anytime soon. I do see a new generation of Windows Mobile on its way…
