[~Tech Angel~] Oh, yeah...I forgot to mention one other interesting discovery this weekend. If you've been reading, you know I found my old Nintendo, Sega Genesis...
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[Retro.joystiq.com] Sega Mega Drive 6-in-1 review - Retro - retro.joystiq.com: We reported on the return of the Sega Mega Drive (aka Sega Genesis in the US) at the Tokyo Game Show, and now this plug-and-play system which squeezes that whole 16-bit game console, plus a mess of games, into a replica of an original controller, has been released in the UK (there are similar ones for the Atari 2600 and Commodore 64 already available here). Pocket-Lint likes the nostalgia factor of this system from a decade back, but they suggest you just pick up a used system from eBay, as a few of games included are real throwaways (namely Kid Chameleon and Flicky).

[8bitjoystick.com] 8Bit Joystick.com: Review : Nintendo Gamecube Preview Disc: It is almost the exact same game that Sega Dreamcast alumni know and love. If you have a Dreamcast I would just play the original game but if Sonic Adventure 2 on Gamecube was your first experience at a sonic game than Sonic Adventure DX would be a decent choice. I have to think of how Disney keep re-issuing movies in their vault as soon as a new generation of kids is born and ready to consume.
[Reviews.cnet.com] E3 2005: Blogs: Console gaming - CNET reviews: Unlike the steady stream of leaks and speculation about the Xbox 360 (a slew of images and specs that appeared on the Web in the weeks leading up to the 360's announcement--many of which turned out to be right on the money--kept the Microsoft console at the center of conversation in the blogosphere), Sony's new console was cloaked in a shroud of secrecy that would make Steve Jobs proud. Among the few details known about the PlayStation 3 were the fact that it would be powered by a superchip known as the Cell processor and that it would use Blu-ray media, Sony's alternative to Toshiba's rival HD-DVD format.
