Sony not shy
[Guardian Unlimited: Gamesblog] They seem to have a much better understanding of what works on a handheld compared to Sony's strategy of porting over PS2 titles. I don't deny that Wipeout Pure looks lovely, but I've got Wipeout Fusion on my PS2 and haven't touched it in a year, so why would I want more of the same?

[Playstation3.weblogsinc.com] More on PSP (Playstation Portable) - The Unofficial Playstation 3 ...: Over at FirstAdopter, Robert Keenan is a little skeptical of the PlayStation Portable, Sony’s new mobile gaming console which should be out in a year or so. Besides the fact that it’ll sport an optical drive (which are easily damaged) and they’ve been a little vague about the actual gaming part of it, he also isn’t sure they’ll be able to deliver it at a retail price of under $150, at least not with all the features they’re promising it’ll have.

[Makezine.com] MAKE: Blog: Using the PSP as a web browser round up...: I'm anxiously awaiting a browser from Sony and I hope it's more compatable with regular web standards than the Wipeout browser is. For people using the Wipeout browser who would like a portal but don't have a server to set one up, check out www.PSPWebSites.com.

[Ezinearticles.com] Review - Sony PSP: Ditto for the aforementioned Wipeout Pure, which actually manages to overtake the PS2's Wipeout Fusion by a fair mile...and not merely by virtue of it's portability. It's actually a better game...if that doesn't say anything to you about the power of the PSP, nothing will.
