Show notes for "Hell Week"

[Archived in Entry]

[mobilepodcast.org] My persective on life today. This is the original mobile podcast sight, coming to you from Houston, TX. Currently I am conducting a technical experiment in creating podcasts using a Treo 600 smartphone.

Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

http://blog.treonauts.com  Treonauts | Dedicated to your Treo 650 & 600. The Perfect All-In ...: Wassup with the keyboard and the change of key shapes?!?!  The keys on the Treo 600 are UNIQUE which translates into competitive advantage (it's a defining signature of the Treo line) - change for change sake is just dumb design... bring back the old keys please (albeit with backlighting)... at the very least keep the overall shape and flatten them if you want P1...

YOGAndrew's musings: I'm currently several thousand feet in the air en rout to New York on Continental airlines. Upon arriving in new york I will help my girllfriend, Lori, put her stuff in storage, hopefully not do too much apartment cleaning, and then drive back to Houston.

YOGAndrew's musings: "Genuflect" is derived from the Late Latin "genuflectere," formed from the noun "genu" ("knee") and the verb "flectere" ("to bend"). "Flectere" appears in a number of our more common verbs, such as "reflect" ("to bend or throw back," as light) and "deflect" ("to turn aside"). By comparison "genu" sees little use in English, but it did give us "geniculate," a word often used in scientific contexts to mean "bent abruptly at an angle like a bent knee." Despite the resemblance, words such as "genius" and "genuine" are not related to "genuflect"; instead, they are of a family that includes the Latin verb "gignere," meaning "to beget."

Cytron and Company: Sony Treo 600 - I purchased this December 2003 and have been a loyal user since that time. Although it took several months to work out the kinks, the device now works very well. I use SnapperMail and even have my IMs locaded on through VeriChat.

http://www.matthewcsmith.com  Matthew C Smith: Blog: Mel and I will be watching our second film at Boston's Independent Film Festival this Sunday. We ran into an old friend, DJ Hazard, while standing in line for Lonesome Jim last Thrusday. He was attending the festival as an actor, where he played the paintball coach in the mocumentary Blackballed. The second showing is this Sunday, where he will be hosting the Q&A afterwards.
