Some slightly related:
„What makes the SL-C760 (and its siblings the SL-C750, SL-C700, SL-5600 andSL-5500 ) unique from other PDA’s on the market is the use of Linux, the open source based OS, called Linux OpenPDA. This is basically the same Linux that is used to run desktop and laptop computers with some modifications to allow for the smaller display and memory sizes.“http://www.the-gadgeteer.com/ sharp-zaurus-c760-review.html - Cached
„From Sharp, the latest version of their Linux-based Zaurus PDA. The SL-C860 is an update of their SL-C760 and SL-C750 handhelds, and has a 400MHz processor, 128MB of RAM, and a 640x480 resolution LCD screen that swivels around to reveal a tiny keyboard. For whatever reason Sharp hasn't bothered to really market any of the handhelds in the Zaurus line in the States, and the SLC-860 will likely prove no different.“http://www.stargeek.com/item/5022.html - Cached
„2004-2-15: Review at pdabuyersguide.com of the verynice-looking Sharp Zaurus C860 linux clamshell which is only available in Japan.Grrrrr....(Imported to USA by dynamism.com. Currently costing US$849.)“http://www.topology.org/hard/palmtop.html - Cached
„There are six brightness settings on the iPAQ, at the highest setting, it is just a bit brighter than the Casio's dimmest setting. The iPAQ is easy and comfortable to read, but I would love for it to be just a little brighter. The iPAQ can only display 4096 colors while the Casio can display over 65,000 colors.“http://www.the-gadgeteer.com/ipaq-review.html - Cached
