jdb cyberspace to go

„It's amazing that folks give so much credence to his work and yet turn a blind eye to the litany of Moore deceptions that are a matter of public record. His documentaries are closer to Spinal Tap in their accuracy -- at least Spinal Tap was funny. :: Geoff Bowers May 24, 2004 10:27 AM“

Palmspring - The end of the "gee-whiz" era of handheld computing?

„I am personally not a fan of the term "smartphone", but it seems to have gotten some acceptance in the marketplace. Nonetheless, the combined entity has two smartphone platforms, the Tungsten W and the Treo. All indications are that Palm viewed the Tungsten as a "transition model" (direct quote from a Palm representative) and that the upcoming revamped Treo will be the company's only platform in this space.“

Treo 600 vs. Pocket PC Phone

„The point of this table is not to offer proof on the superiority of the Treo 600 but simply to illustrate what I find important, and that when I place the emphasis on the things that really matter, the Treo really shines. If I get carried away and forget about what really matters to me, the Treo is about the same as the Pocket PC Phone. It's this fact that has really sunk into me over the past month as I've come to realize that I do truly prefer the Treo and would gladly give up the games (Pocket War still rocks) for a better phone and wireless email device.“

Treo 600 vs Pocket PC Phone Update

„After trying several different devices (a Nokia 9210 communicator, an iPaq3870/Siemens S55 bluetoothed pair) i eventually stumbled over the Treo600 during one of my US visits. After a short time of getting used to the different approach of doing things, i recognized that the Treo is the device i was always looking for. Tons of different applications for my special needs - and - the phantastic Chatter, which gives me full connection to my IMAP servers (most of the other applications failed, because they were not able to define different username/password pairs for the IMAP/SMTP accounts, which is what i'm using because booth servers are running on different places.“
