iPAQ Time!
crafterm on 2004/05/03:
„It's hard to say which one I like the best. The Blackberry stands out as a separate product from the iPAQ & Palm, acting more as a very cool remote email client rather than a PDA. I like the look & feel of the Palm and it's GUI, but the 802.11b/IE support in the PocketPC. Both have the most basic PDA apps (calendar, email client, tasklist, notepad, word/pdf readers, etc) and can handle SD/SDIO cards with data (mp3, video) or hardware extensions.“

Bedouin Devilry
sean on 2004/03/22:
„Julian Bleecker's wifi.Bedouin project has my mind churning. Bleecker frames this as a product and a service: essentially it's a laptop in a backpack with wi-fi antennas, a PDA remote control, and software that creates your own little "island Internet."“

Work to check
icon on 2003/10/15:
„- Uncle Roy : Uncle Roy exploited a technique called self-reported positioning in which street players would report their won position, either explicitly by declaring their position to Uncle Roy or implicitly by their PDA sending information about which area of the map they were looking at to remote online players. Our analysis of this technique shows they humans may generate and interpret positional data in subtle ways that go beyond understanding exactly where someone is and that raise implications for the use of automated positioning systems such as GPS.“

Wireless Japan 2003 - Vodafone
chriskk on 2003/07/21:
„, QR Code reader (advanced form of bar codes), and even a light for the 310,000 pixel built-in camera. Should we call this a mobile phone, digital camera, bar code scanner, PDA, or remote control? That's the equipment manufacturer's next dilema. Stuff it all in one or specialized gadgets.“

Sony TACT and FEEL
Nakajima on 2003/06/17:
„According to this article, TACT is a prototype of next generation of PDA, which acts as IP-Phone and universal remote as well. It uses a new technology, FEEL, which uses environmental information (such as "touching", "direction", "location") as the additional clue to detect the context and act accordingly.“

The Best & Worst Cell Phone
Jeremy on 2003/04/05:
„ It is a fully functioning Palm OS PDA as well so I can do everything from playing Tetris to using the device as a remote control . My favorite function is to download part of the web using Avant Go or Plucker . I can then browse the New York Times or Slashdot in the subway or walking around.“
