[Rohdesign Weblog] Of course Michael and I gently hammered on both guys about Mac sync, though I do know they have limited resources for this. Bryan is actually a Mac user, so our pleas were not lost on them. in fact they hear the same request from Mac users all the time. I know they'd love to support a Mac outliner like OmniOutliner, so we talked a bit about how Michael and I might help move that forward.

[Mjtsai.com] Michael Tsai - Blog - ProFont in Jaguar’s Terminal: Since I don’t use Terminal that much, Monaco—after its recent tuning—would be an acceptable alternative except that Jaguar’s Terminal gets its spacing all wrong. Luckily, Google pointed me to a page by Daniel Sandler that mentions the problem and offers a solution: use ProFontISOLatin1 in Jaguar’s Terminal. Many thanks to Daniel and his informant.
[Mikematas.com] The Mike Matas Blog: OmniOutliner 3 Replacement Icons: Anon, the thing is, if this is a taste of what Omni has to come then he is the best thing to ever happen to them. Their new work is at best average and that's bad news for Omni and for us the users. I don't know the ins and outs of what went on with Mike and Omni (worryingly you do and posting as anonymous really has me questioning who you are and what your motives are for posting), truth is I don't really care, that's between the two parties, although this is Mikes blog so I wouldn't expect anything other than a biased view. What I do know is that if you sack your designer who just happens to be one of the most highly regarded icon and UI specialists currently working on the Mac, then you make sure you've got someone equally as talented to replace him.

If you want a multi-protocol IM client, try Adium (it also uses libgaim). Again (Firefox and Thunderbird aside), how are these apps any better on Windows? They won’t behave or feel like Windows apps (is there a specific behaviour or feel for a Windows app?).
