„Brighthand review of the new iPAQ h4155 Pocket PC from Hewlett Packard. The h4155 (which has a 400MHz processor, 64MB of RAM, and both Bluetooth and WiFi built-in) has largely been overshadowed by some of the other handhelds that have come out recently, like Palm's Tungsten T3 and Dell's Axim X3i, but if Brighthand's enthusiasm is any indication, this one is not worth overlooking:They said it couldn't be done. That creating a pocketable, multimedia-capable handheld with a magnificent color screen, fast processor and, heaven forbid, two forms of wireless was an impossibility -- a contradiction of terms, so to speak.“http://www.stargeek.com/item/25741.html - Cached

„News - Palm goes for voice over WiFi and Internet - using Cisco tech News - Palm goes for voice over WiFi and Internet - using Cisco tech By Guy Kewney Posted on 30/05/2003 at 17:40 The product is called Gphone, and it means free phone calls to other Internet phones as long as your Tungsten C Palm computer is logged into a wireless ISP. But it could involve leading all Palm users into the Cisco web.“http://www.newswireless.net/articles/ 030530-palm.html - Cached
„To be perfectly honest, I have only ever briefly used a Palm-type device. It was nice, but essentially a disconnected device -- I might as well have been carrying a paper notebook with me. Sure, it could do spreadsheet stuff, but how many people really want to do that on a Palm?“http://blog.org/archives/001020.html - Cached

„On the table before us were laid out the new Palm PDAs and their various accessories. At the time, Palm was heavily promoting their Tungsten|T and Tungsten|W models. Julie and I both already owned Ts, but had never had the opportunity to check out the Ws "live." As we perused the W, we were both impressed with its form factor and features, but there were a couple of issues that kept us from being completely gung-ho about the device: mainly that it used the previous operating system (Palm OS 4.1.1, when 5.0 was already out) and then there was the fact that it used a wireless service that neither of us could get reliable 24/7 access to.“http://www.the-gadgeteer.com/ tungsten-c-review.html - Cached
„(PRWEB) February 15, 2004--Earlier this week, Sony announced the US launch of three new handhelds in the US market; the entry-level PEG-TJ27, WiFi enabled PEG-TJ37 and the high resolution PEG-TH55, signifying Sonys desire to take on Palms top selling models, the Tungsten E and the Zire 71.“http://www.ugamedia.com/news/102.html - Cached
„As a result, I am leaning strongly towards trading my NX70 for a Tungsten T2 and then selling my Sony WiFi card and getting one that works better with Windows Mobile 2003 so I can take advantage of the new features in the OS. I have read alot about the Zero Configuration wireless stuff, but haven't been able to experience it with my officially unsupported WiFi card. Then again the SanDisk SD WiFi should be out in a couple weeks and I can then wait until November to get the Palm drivers and use WiFi with that as well.“http://www.blarg.net/~palmsolo/2003/07/ i-authored-intro-to-this-months.html - Cached

„If a cell-phone user is indoors and near a Wi-Fi access point, his or her phone would sense the stronger Wi-Fi signal and tell the controller that it should route any incoming calls through the Internet, and ultimately through the local access point. „It will be interesting to watch the wars for Internet connectivity in the air. Frankly, I'm a bit surprised that Seattle-based Tenzing is still around, mostly because it's got to be tough to go head to head with Boeing. Plus the airlines are notorious for being touchy about deploying new technology on board.“http://www.stargeek.com/item/31319.html - Cached
