„One little guy suddenly plunged headlong from the side of the pool and disappeared from sight. About 1/28 of a second later, his father plunged in after him, fully dressed, complete with his pager, cell phone, and WinCE handheld computer. He came up with the kid, crying but unhurt, while the life guards were still trying to figure out what was going on.“

„We've not done much other than swimming, a bit of reading, Abbie's gym lesson, oh, and cleaned out the hamster. In fact the main excitement today was stocking up on Piper's Farm produce for the next month, Anna was thrilled because they gave us a dozen eggs as we were leaving the shop and she thought that was completely amazing!“http://www.thefamilyclarke.co.uk/blog/ current.html - Cached

„I’ll tell you about my experience. It was May 2, 1982. At 1600 I left my watch at the Damage Control Station in the heart of the ship. I had to be again on duty at 0000, so I decided to lie down and take a nap until dinnertime. In the very moment that I closed my eyes an unseen hammer-blow knocked me against the upper bunk. When I fell down a heat wave engulfed me, it felt as if the door of a huge blazing oven had suddenly opened. I know I yelled. In a matter of seconds my whole life run before my eyes, like in a movie. The moment passed, I stood up and heard cries and a very particular kind of silence. I realized then that the ship was silent, one gets so used to the humming of the machinery during navigation, it seems as if the boat is alive. Now it wasn’t. “http://www.cibernautica.com.ar/gralbelgrano/ indexenglish.htm - Cached

„An hour later, dressed in his most comfortable jeans, t-shirt, and a red plaid flannel shirt, Gary felt much more human, and able to face the world. On the way out the door, he grabbed his favorite jacket, the black leather bomber. He would leave it down in the office. Just in case. The paper had surprised him too many times to get complacent now.“http://www.loony-archivist.com/eefanfic/storiesnz/ timedout1.html - Cached
