Kid At Heart
[Toyville, presented by MaximumAwesome.com] As a longtime Game Boy fan, I was as wary as anyone else when Sony announced their intention to take over the portable gaming market the same way they had ursurped the console universe by making Nintendo sweat and sending Sega out of the hardware biz entirely. I swore I wouldn’t be sucked in by the marketing, but I was, and couldn’t resist picking up my PSP the day it came out.

[Invisiblerabbit.com] Daniel Harvey - Blog: Two years ago, Martin Nisenholtz, chief executive of New York Times Digital, bet $1,000 that nytimes.com would outrank all blogs on Google by 2007, based on a search of five keywords on a topical news issue. Unless Google and the Times work on their relationship -- Nisenholtz says they're talking, although they haven't come up with any answers yet -- there may be a day when The New York Times doesn't show up at all on the Net's most popular search engine.
[Pdantic.com] PDAntic Blog: I posted my "Looking Back at 2002" article on December 8th, so it's not appropriate for me to write another one of those obnoxious "what happened in the last year" articles that seem to enthrall the media the last few days of every year. But there is another time-honored tradition in the journalistic field, a look ahead at the next year.
[Itweek.co.uk] Hip ways to harness your handheld - IT Week: The internet is full of electronic publications, all ready for you to download to your handheld computer. Of course, the advantage of an e-book (as any electronic publication is called) is that any number of them only take up the same space as your handheld, which means you can walk around with a library in your pocket.
[Engadget.com] Dead pixel problems on new PSPs? - Engadget - www.engadget.com: Those of you who are settling for any number of dead pixels, are hurting yourself and others in the long run, if Sony doesn't see returns then they will continue to spit out bad units. If you are intent on purchasing a PSP, i would recommend you only purchase from Wal-Mart, Target, or Best Buy, all of which have a very consumer friendly refund/exchange policy, because dealing directly with SONY will only take more time and money since you are responsible for shipping costs, and it will take time to receive your new unit.
