INTERVIEW WITH CONGRESSMAN JIM MCGOVERN

[Archived in Entry]

[Progressive Democrats of America Blog] Secondly, you know, look, I mean, one of the things that has always kind of troubled me, and I was over the week-end in the Washington Post, you know, there was a big, half-page kind of op-ed by Henry Kissinger, sometimes I think there are some in the, some who inhabit our editorial pages of our major newspapers, you know, that, you know, that get so kind of tied up in the, you know, in the politics, and you know, what is politically correct, and you know, what is the moderate view, what is sensible, you know, all these different kind of tests you have that they have that sometimes they overlook the obvious: If you want to end the war, you end the war.

Some related posts from Technorati and Google.

Pdamerica.org[Pdamerica.org] Progressive Democrats of America: April 10, 2006--PDA endorses Stephanie Studebaker in the 3rd Congressional District of Ohio. Stephanie Studebaker—-mother, veterinarian, and progressive activist—-is the presumptive nominee in this three-way Democratic Primary to take on incumbent Republican Mike Turner in Southwest Ohio.

http://www.retrothing.com [Retrothing.com] Retro Thing: You know, the kind that you'd take home to meet your mom, if you were that kind of a timepiece. Personally, I'm holding out for the € 14.99 version from IKEA, coz apparently I'm a cheap date.

http://james.cridland.net [James.cridland.net] James Cridland - Blog -: There appears to be two different types of these devices: a version like the Orange SPV c600 which has no touch screen and looks like a phone (but runs Windows Mobile), and this device which is more like an iPAQ, with a touch screen. I think that this is properly called a Pocket PC, but it isn’t very clear, particularly because there’s a shiny badge on the back that says Windows Mobile.

http://woodmeister.blogspot.com [Woodmeister.blogspot.com] Art/Empire/Industry: If like me you think carrying around a phone and a PDA is every so slightly silly a while ago I took procession of an Orange M1000, nice device which I swapped for my C500. When a colleague needed to borrow one I ended up letting them keep it as I had upgraded the OS on my C500 to Mobile 2005, mainly to try out push email.
