  „In an effort to cut corners, Apple dropped the cache from L3 (the cache in the titanium models) to an L2, effectively dropping the processor speed to around 900MHz. Your best bet is to buy a refurb titanium machine, take the RAM up to 768 or a gig (at least a gig if you plan to run any pro apps), and get yourself a bigger HD that runs about 7200RPM.
