„New smartphones will likely be viewed as replacements or substitutions for existing PDA or mobile phone purchases. In this economic climate, I don't think that it would be particularly easy to argue that it is "mission critical" to replace a slightly aged PDA or mobile phone with a new smartphone unless there is just an absolutely critical enterprise application (such as email) that the new device enables.“

„For example, several books on programming, Peopleware for example, talk about the need for offices for every 1 to 3 programmers and that the amount of distractions for a programmer is inversely proprotional to their productivity. That might be true and that's fine when you are writing some well speced out database app or backend webapp. In games though the product is entertainment, something that is fun, not just something that is functional.“ posted on 2004/07/28http://greggman.com/edit/editheadlines/ 2003-08-21.htm - Cached
„In a well-functioning restaurant, the extent to which consumers are hungry now or are willing to wait determines the mix of food that is prepared. The waiters deliver the right information to the chefs about how much of each type of meal to prepare. However, like a bad waiter, a central bank can enter the picture and deceive the chefs into thinking that people want more stews and roasts than they truly desire.“http://www.corante.com/bottomline/archives/ 000617.html - Cached
