Changing Batteries
ClosetPacifist on 2003/09/03:
„I was changing my PDA's batteries and started to daydream, having already taken out the old batteries. When I snapped out of it and put in the new batteries, the PDA's power had ran out and my data lost. It didn't, however, go through the usual process after having been reset, but instead just didn't have any data on it.“

Some slightly related:
„While I was slightly disappointed that there weren't more Pocket PC OS devices designed, many of the things that people were putting into their Dream PDAs were actually things that either are available or will soon be available on the Pocket PC platform - so I guess that that this says people want the expansion and multi-media features of a Pocket PC, but they want the familiarity of the Palm OS. What do you think?“http://www.the-gadgeteer.com/ dream-contest-winners.html - Cached
„The idea of being able to carry a PDA on my wrist - even with somewhat reduced functionality - is just totally cool. So of course my gadget lust acts up when I occasionally hear of different wrist computer-type products that companies will come out with, such as last year's REPUTER /On Hand . Unfortunately, in their present incarnations, these products weren't what I would consider for everyday use.“http://www.the-gadgeteer.com/ fossil-pda-watches-review.html - Cached
„I'm not going to tell you that one is better than another, they each have their strengths, and after all, I'm a PDA geek-- I love them all. Instead I'm going to outline several key considerations that usually help folks decide which will suit their needs. Palm OS PDAs are made by Palm, Sony and Handspring, though Palm bought Handspring in 2003, and the Treo 600 Palm OS smartphone was Handspring's only product at that time.“http://www.pdabuyersguide.com/tips/ palm_vs_pocketpc.htm - Cached
