„Tamara Falicov of the Department of Theatre and Film/Latin American Studies at the University of Kansas. On behalf of Missouri Southern and our International Institute, I had contacted Dr. Falicov by email in the spring of 2003, to invite her to be the keynote speaker at a week-long Cuban film festival that we had planned as part of our “Cuba Semester” in the fall.“http://www.mssu.edu/international/cuba/trip12-2003/ havana.htm - Cached

„other than that, the classes you take are up to you and your faculty advisor (who in most cases just signs your registration form - may advise you, but will rarely forbid you from doing what you want to do). 30% of students double major; 40% do theses (long independent research project during senior year); 1/3 study abroad (over 200 pre-approved programs, but if there's one you want to do that we don't already approve, you can petition for it). The principles of an Amherst education are breadth and depth, but where you want to be on that spectrum is really up to you - i know someone who's triple majoring and doing two theses, but i don't recommend it - it's more likely for someone to fulfill a major then spend the rest of the time dabbling in a few of the many great courses we offer.“http://www.amherst.edu/~respeer/prefrosh.html - Cached
